  • We Are So Happy That We Hired 1 Stop Builders

We hired 1 Stop Builders to rebuild our backyard deck in 2020, and we are so happy we did. The owner was a total pleasure to deal with. He is so friendly, we felt entirely comfortable dealing with him throughout the process. (It was an extra-complicated job, because we wanted to preserve some parts of the structure of our existing deck while replacing essentially everything visible.)

’s professionalism and attention to detail is amazing! He provided us with renderings of a few different options, and then modified the one we chose until we had exactly the design we wanted. The software used to provide the renderings was phenomenal; it was like seeing the deck already built and in place in our yard. When it came to building the deck, we couldn’t believe the exactitude of ’s work. You would swear the wood was all being precision-cut by computer! The level of workmanship was beyond our highest expectations.

All in all, we are so happy that we hired 1 Stop Builders. As I said above, is a pleasure to deal with, and we also ended up with the best-looking deck in the neighbourhood.

The railing posts and pickets are hand milled from Western Red Cedar and the design uses the Simpson Strong Tie “Mission Collection” decorative structural hardware.

  • Structural Repair

    Supporting a covered roof

The project involved a major structural repair to the porch roof which required reinforcement of the existing footings.

A temporary wall was built to support the roof during the beam replacement and all existing structural connections were upgraded to meet Ontario Building Code standards.
